Victoria Road | In the 1970s a (Prohibition
of Driving) Order was issued restricting direct vehicular access to Victoria Road from the High
Road. This came into force on 07/11/1977. In 1977/78 a new road (B148, West Mayne), linking Laindon
to the A127 Dunton Wayletts flyover, was constructed between Manor Road and Victoria Road from a
new junction with the existing High Road roundabout. |
